Lake Travis Area Upcoming Construction Projects
The Lake Travis area is booming with both residential and business construction. We are welcoming many new projects to the Lake Travis area in 2011. These projects include:

| In Bee Cave there are plans for the construction of a Whole Foods Market in the Hill Country Galleria. It is expected to be completed in 2012. The Austin-based company plans to open several new locations throughout the United States in the upcoming years. |

Whole Foods Market was named one of Fortune's "Best 100 Companies to work for. The 35,000 square foot store will employ about 200 people and given its location on major state Highway 71 should provide a regional draw. The Village of Bee Cave hopes that the new store will provide not only employment but significant tax revenue as 21% of the stores' products are taxable |

The Lake Travis Regional Medical Center is already under construction on Highway 620 South next to the Lake Travis High School campus. The 54-acre development will include:
244,000 square feet of medical office space
Level III Trauma designation
a rehabilitation hospital with about 85 patient rooms for long-term acute care
convalescence and full-service therapy
an elder-care facility for 80 to 100 patients
30,000 square feet of retail and restaurant space
an extended-stay hotel with 60 to 90 suites
and structured parking surrounded by amenities such as trails
The facility is predicted to employ about 3,000 people. The project is set to be completed in April 2012.

The Lake Travis Specialty Hospital is set for completion September 1, 2011. The hospital is a 38 bed general hospital with 19 medical beds, 16 surgical beds and two ICU beds. LTSH will operate 4 operating suites. Nurse to patient ratios will be among the best in Central Texas.
LTSH will operate a 10 bay Emergency Department with a level three trauma designation with plans to become a Certified Chest Pain Center. The Emergency Department will be staffed by Emergency Department Physicians full-time 24x7x365.
The Medical Staff at LTSH includes physicians with specialties in Internal Medicine, Family Practice, Cardiology, General Surgery, Urology, Orthopedics, Gastroenterology, Pulmonary Medicine, Sleep Studies, Ear Nose and Throat, Radiology, Nephrology, Pathology, Ophthalmology, Podiatry, Oral Surgery, and Emergency Medicine.

| Real del Lago, set to open in the summer of 2011, will provide more commercial space in Lakeway off Highway 620 South near Walgreens and Randall's. The anchor business is CraigO's Pizza and Pastaria, an established community restaurant. |

A new location for the Austin-based P. Terry's has already broken ground. The 2,500 square foot restaurant will also feature a drive through window and a patio. It is set to open by the end of the summer. |
